ABOUT ME

For over 20 years, I've been teaching women about sexual health, intimacy, and emotional well-being as a certified sexual health educator. Combining my clinical, cultural, and religious training, I focus on educating women about sex and intimacy through an Islamic and African lens. Since building this online (and sometimes in-person) village, we've grown to over 50,000 powerful women spanning 86 countries.

With the Village Auntie Movement, I invite everyone to follow where they would normally lead, surrender the need to be perpetually strong, and relax in the company of a powerfully intimate and binding sisterhood. We'll always encourage you to use your intuition and innate connection to come to a greater sense of self and soul.

I remember an instance when went to Instagram to do my normal morning live for my #GroundsCrew. But the app was down. I went to check my FB notifications to see if my mother had embarked on her cross-country road trip and it was down too.

And I felt… relieved. That sounds strange coming from a content creator and a woman who fronts a global brand that seems to rely heavily on social media. But the fact of the matter is our village never rests and is never offline. Our village is made of real-life human beings in places and spaces worldwide. We are truly global.
